하나님께서 아신다

Youth is the time
when all seems to be within
the grasp of the careful student.
I have left that time behind.
“I don’t know” is
on my lips more often now.
But so also is “God knows!”
– not as a thoughtless
ｅxpression in conversation,
but as the conviction of my heart.

젊음은 모든 것이
그의 손아귀에 있는 것처럼
느껴지는 때이다.
하지만 요즘 들어 부쩍
“나는 아무것도 몰라” ,
“하나님이 아시지..” 라는
말을 자주 하게 된다.
이는 일상의
무의미한 표현이 아니라
심령의 감동에서
나오는 말이다.
